Ethel and her family wanted a master bedroom and bathroom that felt like a hotel suite. The existing home did not have the space or layout to make that happen, so a room addition was the solution.
DeCicco Property Group started by demolishing the existing structure down to the framing. Walls were opened up, old materials were removed, and the team assessed what could stay and what needed to go. New floor joists were installed to support the addition.
A new room was framed and built from the foundation up, attached to the existing home. The addition included the master bedroom and a full bathroom remodel with a soaking tub, new plumbing, insulation, and finish work throughout.
Ethel described the finished result as their five-star hotel suite. The team maintained communication throughout the project, finished each day’s work completely, and cleaned up at the end of every workday.
The new bathroom includes a full-size soaking tub with new plumbing rough-in. Walls were framed with moisture-resistant materials and insulated. The bathroom was plumbed and wired before drywall and finish work began.

Bathroom Remodeling was a key component of this project. The master bathroom was built from scratch inside the new addition with a soaking tub, full plumbing rough-in, and moisture-resistant wall systems.
Basement Finishing techniques were applied to the structural work in this addition. Floor joist installation, insulation, and electrical rough-in follow the same process whether the space is below grade or at ground level.
